Aamir Khan Unveils a HUGE Secret, Claiming He ‘Was Disturbed and Unhappy’ and ‘Almost Left Movies’

Star Aamir Khan claims that if it weren’t for his kids, he would have given up acting because he was “angry and irritated” with himself for not being able to spend enough time with his loved ones.

The 58-year-old said that he just realized his love of movies had taken over his life—including his relationships with his children Junaid Khan, Ira Khan, and Azad Rao Khan—about 2.5 years ago.

“About 2.5 years ago, I realized I had neglected my relationships because I was so engrossed in my enthusiasm. I felt worried and depressed. If not for my kids, I would not have seen movies. At the “Amrit Ratna 2023” ceremony hosted by News18 India, Aamir stated, “I was upset and frustrated with myself.

The actor has previously said that he would be taking a break from acting to devote more time to his family. The box office performance of his most recent theatrical film, “Laal Singh Chaddha” (2022), was poor.

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Aamir spoke about his two years of treatment and how it has been “quite a journey.”

Ira was four years old at the time, and Junaid was five. We must choose how we wish to spend our time. I’m more conscious now. My two years of treatment are complete. I don’t think we are taught to do everything,” he stated.

“A person should see a therapist when they are under stress or experiencing emotional problems. I now have a much better grasp of who I am because to it. I want to improve on who I am,” the actor said.

Aamir said that he is content with his ability to repair any gaps in his connection with his kids. “I’m like a friend to all of my children. I’m a welcoming father. We are really close and communicate honestly… I’ve become more composed. My interaction with my children has improved,” he said.

Aamir is particularly pleased with how his older children are doing professionally.Ira has been promoting mental health awareness ever since she discussed her personal issues with depression and anxiety last year, while Junaid is preparing for his entry into the film business as a producer and actor.

“I’m pleased to see the youngsters are flourishing. They are dealing with their own challenges in a dignified manner, he said.

The famous person expressed his excitement for both his daughter’s upcoming marriage to celebrity fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare and his son’s upcoming film debut.

“On January 3, Ira is getting married. Nupur resembles a son. I’m content. I am a very sensitive person. At the wedding, I’ll shed a lot of tears. It’s already causing the family anxiety,” he added.

Aamir said he had changed significantly over the previous two years.

“I’ve gained a lot of knowledge. I’m trying to balance my personal and work life right now. I’m glad I realized it at age 56 rather than 80. I appreciate that,” he replied.

In terms of movies, the celebrity will star in and produce “Sitaare Zameen Par,” “Lahore, 1947,” and “Laapata Ladies” with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi.
