Daniel Balaji, 48, was sent to a private hospital in Chennai promptly after suffering a sudden heart attack late on March 29. His health swiftly worsened despite medical assistance, and he passed away from the heart attack soon after being admitted. His lifeless remains were buried at his home in Purasaiwakkam, Chennai, and a burial service was held on March 30 in the evening. He was cremated at the Otteri Cremation Ground.

When word spread that Daniel Balaji had passed away, both colleagues and fans expressed their sorrow, with well-known people like Gautham Menon, Ameer, and Vetri Maaran stepping forward to send their condolences to his grieving family. Messages paying tribute to the renowned actor’s memory flooded social media.
