Arijit Singh was seen visiting Salman Khan’s home, putting an end to their 9-year rivalry

Singer Arijit Singh was recently seen in Mumbai’s Bandra district visiting Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Galaxy flats.

The musician was spotted in a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) sitting in the passenger seat while sporting a beige t-shirt.

The footage was posted on X (previously Twitter) by one of Salman’s followers.

At an awards ceremony that Salman was hosting, the singer and the actor got into an argument over ten years ago. Arijit won the Best Playback Singer prize for his outstanding performance on the “Aashiqui 2” album.

However, as is customary at Bollywood award presentations, the announcement of the Best Singer took place in the small hours.

The singer, who had fallen asleep at this point, entered the stage late to Salman’s mockery, to which Arijit curtly said, “Sir aap log itna late kar dete hain.” The actor from “Tere Naam” didn’t take this well, and as a result, their relationship soured.

After that, Arijit repeatedly apologized to Salman through SMS after losing two movies. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ refused to give him a chance. The worst of all? Rahat Fateh Ali Khan took over “Jag Ghoomeya” in Sultan from him.

Later, in order to repair their relationship, Arijit apologized to Salman in front of the world on Facebook in 2016. However, he quickly pulled the post down and has been quiet ever since.

Arijit is perhaps the only performer in the Hindi cinema business whose career has continued to flourish despite his strained relationship with Salman.

With Arijit having been seen at Salman’s home, it appears that the two have reconciled after nine years of animosity, and a collaboration may very well be in the works, mediated by music composer Pritam Chakraborty, who is penning the score for Salman’s upcoming movie “Tiger 3” and has been Arijit’s mentor for almost two decades.
