At the World Governments Summit, Shah Rukh Khan makes his trademark stance; PM Modi is the only other Indian at this international gathering

On Wednesday, February 14, Shah Rukh Khan attended the World Governments Summit 2024, a major event that was in Dubai for its third day. Aside from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bollywood actor is the only other Indian present at the international gathering of global leaders.

In the interactive session titled “The Making of a Star: A Conversation with Shah Rukh Khan,” the actor was the featured guest. He discussed his 33-year journey in Bollywood, explained why he hasn’t yet done a Hollywood film, and revealed that he would love to play the renowned spy James Bond in an interview with CNN journalist and anchor Richard Quest.

At the ceremony, Shah Rukh also struck his trademark stance with his arms wide spread, to a resounding cheer from the crowd. Some pictures of the actor speaking at the event were posted by the World Governments Summit’s official X (previously known as Twitter) account. Fans flocked to the comments area, where they expressed their admiration for King Khan. One of them remarked, “SRK is Pride of India,” while another referred to him as the “biggest superstar in the world.”

In the meanwhile, Shah Rukh had a huge career comeback in 2018 and returned to work last year. His first film, Pathaan, a thriller starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, was a soy production. At the global box office, the Siddharth Anand-directed film went on to make Rs 1050 crore. With Jawan, his second release of the year, he shattered that record. The Atlee-directed blockbuster action film, which earned Rs 1150 crore worldwide, also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Dunki, a social drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was his third release. The movie, which also starred Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, took around Rs 470 crore at the worldwide box office.
