Check out the reports on Maidaan’s second day of box office collection. Ajay Devgn’s inspirational sports drama keeps the pot boiling, earning Rs 9.85 crore so far

Day 2 Box Office Collection for Maidaan: Reviews for the sports drama, which stars Ajay Devgn, have been favourable in India. Sacnilk.com claims that Maidaan has already earned over Rs 9 crore. The makers of the movie chose to release it in a few cinemas on Wednesday, and it earned Rs 2.6 crore. On its first day of release in theatres on Thursday, Maidaan earned Rs 4.5 crore. The film earned Rs 2.75 crore net on its second day of release (all languages). Thus far, Maidaan has brought in Rs 9.85 crore from the ticket booth.

Now scheduled for a fantastic return, Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s film will focus on Saturday and Sunday as crucial days. In the following two days, Maidaan has to earn double digits at the box office to indicate whether or not the movie is well-received by the public.

“Maidaan” by Ajay Devgn against “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” by Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar
At the box office, Ajay Devgn’s film faced serious competition from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” Early assessments indicate that “Maidaan” is doing less well at the box office than the action movie. Even though it opened over the main Eid weekend, the action movie starring Ali Abbas Zafar too had a sluggish beginning, taking in Rs 15.50 crore. Both films need to stay strong and earn a lot of money at the box office in order for there to be any chance of a turnaround, particularly considering how extravagantly they were produced.

The budget for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is reportedly more than Rs 350 crore, despite trade circles pointing out that the landing cost of Maidaan, after years of delay, equals to Rs 250 crore. Given how poorly both films opened, it doesn’t seem probable that either of them will even come close to their claimed costs.
