Due to medical restrictions, Amitabh Bachchan chose not to attend Comic Con for Kalki 2898 AD

The gripping preview for Nag Ashwin’s epic Kalki 2898 AD, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, was first seen at San Diego Comic-Con. The movie, which also stars Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas, is said to be one of the most costly ones ever produced in India. Being unveiled at Comic Con was thus a big accomplishment for the whole since it was the first Indian movie to be given a spot there.

The actor has already provided an explanation on his blog explaining why he was unable to attend the event in person.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog on Saturday, saying, “Alright.. so… San Diego and K, the project.. a beautiful time for the movie, the creators, and everyone who traveled there to see the first trailer for it… I was strongly encouraged to attend by Nagi Sir, but due to work and medical issues, I have missed many such events. Nevertheless, I must agree that everything about the first look was excellent: the fashion, background music, frames, and everything else.

“And finally the reveal of K.. KALKI mythologically so important.. 2898 AD,” the Brahmastra actor concluded. Has AD undergone any changes? Yes, AD, which I believe stood for “anno domini,” or “in the year of the Lord,” was altered to CE, or the common era, and BC, or before common era, became BCE! I’m not sure why, but it may have something to do with the birth of Christ, both before and after. As a result, each area of the world has its own year and month, which are called using their own calendars.

Project K made history by being the first Indian movie to ever have its premiere at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2023. A Project K billboard in Times Square, New York City, baited the public before to the event with the phrase “First glimpse on July 20.”

Earlier, Prabhas’ first appearance was made public. Prabhas, the movie’s “Rebel Star,” appeared on the poster with metal armour, dreadlocks, and a bushy beard. The sci-fi fantasy thriller is planned for January of the following year. In addition to Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Nag Ashwin, the panel discussion included Prabhas and Ran Daggubati.
