Exclusive: Kirsten Dunst’s Civil War and the Storming of the Capitol in 2021 are related

Star of Hollywood Kirsten Dunst, well known for movies such as The Virgin Suicides, The Spiderman trilogy, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, will soon be seen in her next movie, Civil War, where she will portray a war photographer. The movie is being distributed by PVR Inox Pictures in India. In the film, she travels the country, reporting on the civil war that has torn the nation apart with a small group of her coworkers.

Alex Garland, director of the movies Annihilation and Ex Machina, is directing this one.
Few people are aware of the close resemblance between the movie and the Capitol Hill Storming in 2021, which had supporters of US President Donald Trump in the form of mobs storming the Capitol building.

In a special interview with ETimes, filmmaker Alex Garland discussed the event, saying, “I think when I saw the storming of the Capitol, I wasn’t thinking about the film; I just thought this is a disgrace.” I reasoned that this was the result of several issues that have been going wrong for a while now and are only now beginning to become problematic. This is what would naturally follow from it. And once my fury had passed, I believe that all it did was strengthen my commitment to the narrative I had already been attempting to communicate.

When asked whether he believed the movie was set in a dystopian setting, he also revealed that it wasn’t. The opposite of utopian is dystopian. These are devices used in narratives such as Mad Max. It is obvious that the notion of nations falling into civil war is a myth. There have always been civil conflicts in various parts of the globe, and there will continue to be them in the future. The issue of whether anybody is immune to civil wars is more important than whether or not they are genuine. Is there a nation that is exempt from the same types of problems that other nations experience because it exudes a unique golden glow? Personally, I don’t think anyone is immune. Nobody is unique. And you go closer to that state if you establish a certain set of conditions that have to do with radicalism, populist politics, polarization, and really curtailing the authority of the press. While there is always a chance that something may go wrong, that forecast does not imply that it will never happen.
