In an unauthorized IPL streaming case, Tamannaah Bhatia received an SKIPS summons: Report

On April 29, actor Tamannaah Bhatia—who had been called in by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell for the illicit streaming of IPL matches—was scheduled to testify. The ‘Bahubali’ actress has reportedly asked the Cyber Cell to provide her with a later date, according to the most recent report.

Tamannaah has informed the Cyber Cell about her absence from Mumbai and her possible availability at a later time, according to a News 18 report. If the actress’ summons has been rescheduled at a later time, there has been no word from the authorities.

Jacqueline Fernandez and musician Badshah have already had their comments recorded by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell about this subject. The summons was also received by actor Sanjay Dutt, who asked the agency to reschedule at a later time since he wasn’t in the nation.

In the current investigation involving unauthorized streaming, almost 200 identities of Bollywood celebrities and sports professionals have surfaced. This is in reference to the Indian Premier League (IPL) being shown illegally using an application, which allegedly cost Viacom Rs 100 crore in damages.

Exclusive broadcast rights to the prestigious cricket competition were held by Viacom 18. Actors and actresses involved in the case are called upon for allegedly supporting and promoting the app, which illegally encourages betting in India.

In an IPL streaming investigation, Tamannaah Bhatia has been called by the Maharashtra cyber unit; Sanjay Dutt requests a different date 03:12.

According to reports, Viacom18 filed a formal complaint against the betting app platform for broadcasting IPL matches even though the latter had the intellectual property rights (IPR) to do so. This led to the filing of a FIR.
