In Gadar 2, Utkarsh Sharma claims that Sunny Deol is the first Hollywood action star to fail, saying, “inke superhero costume le le toh”

With the much anticipated action film Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is making his big-screen comeback, and his on-screen son, co-star Utkarsh Sharma, thinks Sunny is the world’s last action hero. The renowned 2001 hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’s direct sequel, Gadar 2, is directed by Anil Sharma, while Utkarsh returns as Jeete from the predecessor.

Utkarsh said that Sunny Deol is the last action star who can effectively master the raw action genre while speaking with DNA India. The last action hero in the world who can do uncut action with such sincerity is Sunny Sir. “Upar koi nahi hai,” Sharma went on to say that without their larger-than-life superhero personalities, not even Hollywood’s greatest heroes make for compelling action stars. “Hollywood used to have action stars like Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Sylvester Stallone, but not any more. If we take away their superhero costumes, we won’t have an actor who can do that action. Unke pass se agar unke superhero costume le le, toh ek bhi aisa hero nahi hai jo aisa action kar sakta hai. We are fortunate to have a superstar who excels at action and can add emotions to it. He also has perfect control over how he delivers dialogue.

Utkarsh praised Deol’s line delivery, saying, “I told him that you would be the last actor who has an incredible command over dialogue delivery while shooting (the movie).” Nobody else that I know of can do raw action or convey dialogue like you can.

In addition, Utkarsh believed that Sunny Deol hadn’t received enough credit for his work as an action hero prior to Gadar 2: “We have grown up watching him… loved him in films like Arjun, Tridev, Ghayal, Ghatak, Gadar, and The Hero, but yes kahi na kahi lagta hai ki unko woh due nahi mila.” I’m hoping that this will change with Gadar 2 and beyond. The enthusiastic reaction to the teaser has shown how much people adore him. He will be unstoppable whenever the correct topic is presented to him in his action avatar, which the right movie will do. Ameesha Patel, Luv Sinha, and Manish Wadhwa all have major roles in Gadar 2. On August 11, the film will be released in theaters, competing alongside Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2, Rajinikanth’s Jailer, and Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar.
