Let’s look at the filmography of Rakesh Master

Sadly, beloved Tollywood choreographer S. Rama Rao, well known by his stage name Rakesh Master, died away today, leaving a huge vacuum in the film industry. Let’s recognise his enduring achievements that have touched not just the film business but also the hearts of people worldwide as we pause to reflect on his incredible life and career.

As the charming presenter of the critically acclaimed reality programme Dhee, which has established itself as one of the most engaging dance extravaganzas on Telugu television, Rakesh Master catapulted to notoriety.

Rakesh Master often recalled how the renowned movie Disco Dancer, which he first saw when he was just eleven years old, inspired him to pursue his boyhood goal of being a dancer. He continued to follow his love, creating over 1500 captivating dance sequences for Telugu movies.

His breathtaking choreography for many hit songs, including as those from Hum Kahan Ja Rahe Hain (1966), Shor (1972), Akka Thangi (2008), and many more that continue to enthral and connect with fans and admirers alike, is how his creative legacy continues on today.

Twitter fans were profoundly upset to learn about Rakesh Master’s passing, especially those who admired his creative choreography for the song “Vendi theraku Maa Vandanalu” from Pramod Kumar’s Manasichanu, which starred Ravi Teja and Mani Chandana. Furthermore, the beautiful songs of “Devadasu,” like “Bangaram Banagaram,” “Nijama Cheppanante,” “Nuvvantene Ishtam,” and “Pulupante Nakishtam,” among many others, will be forever changed by Rakesh Master’s creative efforts.

His other notable compositions include “Neshtama o Priya Nesthama,” a gripping song, and “Kallaloki Kallu Petti,” a vivacious song from the movie “Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo.” Prabhas and Mahesh Babu, two renowned actors, have elegantly embraced his choreography and have done so by easily bringing his rhythmic compositions to life.

A user said, “Rakesh Master’s exceptional talent and unwavering commitment have indelibly marked the world of dance.” A second commenter echoed this sentiment, writing, “Today, we say goodbye to a genuine icon whose lasting impact will serve as a timeless source of inspiration and joy for future generations.”
