The film’s working title was also noted on the poster. It will be made under the auspices of Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainments.

After Kanguva, Suriya has another unnamed movie in the works. With Sudha Kongara directing, the working title is #Suriya43. The project, billed as a historical action drama, is scheduled to begin filming shortly. It was recently disclosed by the film’s music director, GV Prakash, that the movie is scheduled for release in November or December of this year. In addition to Suriya, the female protagonist will be portrayed by Nazriya Nazim Fahadh. Important parts for Dulquer Salmaan will also be included in the production, while Tamil-language debut for Bollywood actor Vijay Varma will appear as the adversary.
