Manoj Bajpayee: Although films can’t initiate movements, they may certainly contribute to them

When the trailer for Silence 2 was shown, Manoj Bajpayee voiced his thoughts regarding the sort of influence that films have on individuals. “Cinema reflects our time,” said the actor who portrays ACP Avinash Varma in the criminal thriller. Movies may serve as mirrors. No movement can be started by a movie. It could be included in a movement. I’ve always maintained that films are powerless on their own.

Cinema and other art forms are used in Shasaq ne hai. The method cannot be shown in film. It may serve as a mirror for society.
Manoj gave an example, saying, “When Amitabh Bachchan came as an angry young man at that time, unemployment, disappointment, and hopelessness were there, and the common man did not know how to vent out.” Manoj has worked on films including Gangs of Wasseypur, Satya, Shool, and Aligarh, among others. Upon seeing films, people identified with Amitabh Bachchan and believed that he, the average guy, was the one standing and battling against the world and the system. Shammi Kapoor was there when romanticism first emerged, and in our day and age, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are. Our times are reflected in the films we watch. It is not an agitation or movement in and of itself.
Manoj revealed the exclusive secrets and techniques for reprising his character from the second installment of the original programme. “You have to revisit the first season when you have to shoot for the second,” he said. There is eventually a space. You’ve matured as an actor and moved on from that role. Some things you did in the prior one, such as the fundamental traits or the flaws in your character, you should never let go of. My character’s loneliness and rage, which I had to maintain,. I would therefore always have to remind myself of the character’s past.
Known for his performances, Manoj received rapturous applause when his involvement in the drama, which also stars Pracchi Desai, was hinted at in the trailer. Manoj said, “I don’t do anything but try and be a sincere slave to my director,” when questioned about his habit of shocking the audience. I merely attempt to concentrate on the task at hand and its requirements without taking any additional steps.
