Samarjit, the son of Indrajit Lankesh, will make his Gowri debut singing an unplugged version of Hudugi Hudugi

Samarjit Lankesh, the son of renowned South Indian director Indrajit Lankesh, is slated to star in the movie Gowri. It’s interesting to note that Samarjit will use the movie to display his singing abilities in addition to making his acting debut.

In his father’s film Gowri, Samarjit Lankesh will make his stage and singing debuts. With his voice on the unplugged version of the Kannada language song Hudugi Hudugi from his father’s 2006 film Aishwarya, the young actor is sure to wow the audience.

Samarjit said in a recent interview that composer Mathew Manu was the one who recommended that he record Hudugi Hudugi featuring his voice. “Kunal Ganjawala sir sang the original, and at first, it seemed daunting to think of reprising the same in my voice,” he remarked. He went on to say that he practiced his voice with the composers before recording it, despite the fact that it’s only an unplugged rendition.

According to the sources, Indrajit Lankesh wants to make an album that would live on, including voices from celebrities like Kailash Kher, Ananya Bhat, and Javed Ali. According to further details, a number of composers, including Jassie Gift, Chandan Shetty, Shivu Bergi, and others, created the music for the movie.

Under the direction of Indrajit Lankesh, Gowri is the first film featuring Samarjit Lankesh and Saanya Iyer, well-known figures in television. Chandan Gowda and Sweezal Furtado, the Miss Teen Universe, are featured in the cast. AJ Shetty is handling the cinematography, Kaviraj is handling the lyrics, while Ravi Verma is handling the stunt choreography. The movie is allegedly based on true events.

The original version of the song Hudugi Hudugi was included in the 2006 Indrajit directed film Aishwarya. Chilukuru Balaji Productions, which also included Daisy Bopanna, Master Kishan N Kumar, Dr. Ramanjaneyalu, and Kannada star Upendra, produced the movie including Deepika Padukone, who was making her acting debut. Composer Rajesh Ramanath is behind the camera.
