According to the most recent sources, the filming is now happening in Tuticorin, where a viral picture shows Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil in a scene, with people on the set holding umbrellas for the actors. The image that was released shows a scene from the movie’s production, showing a brief intermission between frames. Regarding the scene, one fan surmised, “Most likely a montage, wholesome,” while another X user exclaimed, “Thalaivar and FaFa in the same frame!!”

After actor-politician Vijayakanth passed away, Rajinikanth decided to temporarily halt the shooting of Vettaiyan. When Rajinikanth learned of his friend’s loss, he made the decision to stop filming and go back to Chennai. “#SuperstarRajinikanth cancelled his movie #Vettaiyan shoot in Nagercoil and is rushing back to Chennai to pay homage to Captain #Vijayakanth,” trade analyst Ramesh Bala said on his social media account with the announcement. Under the post, the actor’s admirers praised him for the gesture, commenting, “Great gesture by Rajini.” “I would be disappointed if he didn’t, as a Thalaivar fan, it’s his dear friend,” a fan commented on Ramesh Bala’s tweet.

Director TJ Gnanavel is slated to oversee an action-packed entertainment with an excellent ensemble cast after the success of Jai Bhim. In the film Vettaiyan, superstar Rajinikanth will appear on screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan.
