Today saw the release of the trailer for ’12th Fail,’ the upcoming film from filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, which received positive reviews from all sides. The trailer satisfied all the criteria for Vinod’s special brand of thought-provoking entertainment.

The main character, played by Vikrant Massey, travels from a sleepy hamlet in Chambal to the busy hub of UPSC preparation in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar in the trailer. Initial feedback indicates that Massey’s outstanding performance and physical change have pleased spectators. The highlights of the teaser are punch banter and a fascinating ensemble cast. The movie is anticipated to be an emotional rollercoaster, set to the powerful hymn #Restart.

Based on a true incident, the movie “12th Fail” depicts the harrowing hardships faced by millions of students taking the UPSC admission test. It also inspires individuals to keep trying despite setbacks and pushes them to think bigger than just that one test.

“In today’s times, I wanted to tell a story of hope, a story of never giving up,” Vidhu Vinod Chopra remarked while discussing the movie. That and more is what 12th Fail is. While making this movie, I have smiled, sobbed, sang along, and enjoyed myself. When it opens in theaters, this movie will, in my opinion, appeal to everyone.

We’re happy to join with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, said Shariq Patel, CBO of Zee Studios. The ups and downs of student life are vividly shown in this movie, which also shows how strong and resilient these kids can be. It honors the resilience of our young people as they overcome obstacles.

On October 27, “12th Fail,” a movie by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, will be released internationally in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
