Watch Diljit Dosanjh Cry at the Release of the Amar Singh Chamkila Trailer After Imtiaz Ali Congratulates Him

After Imtiaz Ali complimented him at the Amar Singh Chamkila trailer premiere, Diljit Dosanjh started crying. In the movie, the Punjabi actor portrays the lead part. The film, which was directed by Imtiaz, tells the tale of a great singer who has been compared to Punjab’s Elvis Presley. While narrating stories about their time spent working together during the trailer premiere, Imtiaz complimented him. He said that this is just the beginning and that his time has arrived.

“You have come a long way already, but this is just the beginning,” I assure you. We will follow you wherever you go. I’m thrilled that making this video has brought this newness into my life. Imtiaz Ali stated, “I am grateful to Netflix, who took it up with equal love,” bringing Diljit to tears.

Imtiaz said earlier this month, in an interview with News18 Showsha, that he could only see Diljit and Parineeti as the film’s leads. “It was imperative that I cast actors who can sing as well.” It was crucial that they perform live. Without them, this movie would not have been possible. Although Diljit is used to performing live, it’s not as if he didn’t train as much as Parineeti. After performing the songs live, they both recorded them. This is because I’ve never had live vocalists perform during a shoot. He told us exclusively, “I reasoned that if the live singing doesn’t work well, we can always take the recorded version and use it as a replay, as we typically do.

Window Seat Films, Saregama, Select Media Holdings LLP, and Mohit Choudhary are the film’s producers. The movie’s soundtrack is Saregama. On April 12, Amar Singh Chamkila will make its Netflix debut.
