After agreeing to a $200k bond, Donald Trump is freed from jail in Georgia; the ex-president pays 10% of the bond amount
On Thursday (local time), after completing the booking procedure and agreeing to a $200,000 bail and other release requirements, former US President Donald Trump was freed go. He also agreed to refrain from threatening his co-conspirators, co-defendants, or witnesses on social media. According to those acquainted with the situation, the bail was paid for by the former president, who also partnered with Atlanta bond company Foster Bail Bonds LLC, who contributed 10% of the bond’s cost.
Donald Trump has never before posted monetary bail. Because it was unlikely that he would be freed without a monetary bond in Georgia, Fulton County wanted one. This is his third indictment, and he is also charged with three additional felonies.

The same procedure that every other criminal defendant in the county must go through will be used to not just Trump but also his other collaborators. In the Georgia election subversion case, Donald Trump is one of a total of 19 accused.
In April 2023, Trump was detained in New York on state charges connected to a hush money conspiracy. He turned himself up at a Miami courtroom to answer for the allegations made by special counsel Jack Smith in his investigation into the mishandling of secret information by the former president.
Additionally, earlier in August, when Smith looked into the former president’s intentions to rig the 2020 election, Trump was arrested in Washington, DC, and charged.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has made former president Donald Trump’s photograph public. He posted the photograph on Truth Social along with the description, “ELECTION INTERFERENCE! NEVER, EVER REFUSE!”
