Huge wave smashes through doors and enters a US Army facility in the Marshall Islands: Watch

Over the weekend, a massive tsunami struck a US military installation, as shown in this horrifying viral video. According to ABC News, the wave struck a restaurant on a US Army post in the Marshall Islands. It was stated that no one was badly hurt.

The base’s walls and doors were seen to be breached by the waves, which reached heights of several meters. People fell to the ground. The event resulted in damage to property and an evacuation.

A local diver named Erik D. Hanson from the Kwajalein Atoll posted the footage and some explanations on Instagram. “I’m finally uploading the footage now that I’ve heard everyone who attended the event is okay. Several enormous waves pounded Roi Namur island on Saturday night. Contrary to what many other websites stealing my footage claim, there was not a tsunami. Not a single island was impacted. The wind, swell direction, and tides all played a part. It may have been worse since it occurred just after low tide, at 1.2 feet, he noted.

“Very grateful that nobody was gravely hurt. We appreciate all of the messages from friends and family. Kindly distribute this video rather than the shady copycats that are now on the loose,” he said.

One person who saw the terrifying video and left a remark said, “Thank God everyone’s safe.” It hurts my heart to see what climate change is doing to the planet. I’m afraid of what lies ahead. Someone another said, “This is completely crazy.” I’m attempting to determine Viv’s whereabouts!? I’m very happy everyone is okay. Whoa. “Thank God for everyone’s safety! This video is very scary! One person commented, “How terrible is the damage?,” while another noted, “The three individuals outside the door were uninjured!?? This is very scary. I just cannot picture this having been at the Outrigger for a while.
