Israeli woman’s mother begs for the release of her daughter, saying, “She is alive, bring my baby back”

The mother of a 21-year-old Israeli woman who is being held prisoner by Hamas pleaded for her release after the terrorist organization published a video of her daughter appealing for assistance amid the intensifying conflict between Israel and the terror group. The 21-year-old lady, identified as Mia Shem, was taken hostage by Hamas militants during an assault on a venue for an Israeli music festival.

Mia’s mother, Keren Shem, stated, “I yelled when I saw the video of Mia because I saw that she was alive, but when I viewed it again, I discovered that she was injured.

She seems to be in great agony and is clearly afraid, yet she is also speaking as they direct.

I’m pleading with the world to bring my kid back home, Keren said, holding a picture of her daughter in her arms. She merely attended the celebration party to have fun; she didn’t want to go to Gaza.

“This is a crime against humanity, and we should all gather, and stop this terror, and bring everyone back home,” Keren said, adding that “there are many children who attended this party, there are many babies, and children, and old people, and Holocaust survivors that were kidnapped.”

Mia was shown in a social media video receiving treatment for an arm cut before pleading for assistance.

Moreover, according to a translation from Hebrew by the Jerusalem Post, Mia said in the video that she had a three-hour operation in Gaza. “Everything is OK; they are looking after me and providing me medication. I simply beg that they return me back to my mom and siblings as quickly as possible, she stated. “I need to leave this place as soon as possible. Please.”

However, the Israel Defense Forces said on social media that Mia was abducted by Hamas and that the group released this video to demonstrate their humanity.
