Times Square hosts Ayodhya festivities as the Indian diaspora commemorates the Ram Mandir event

Celebrate the Pran Pratishtha event by gathering at Times Square, New York, where the Indian diaspora lit up the famous spot. Individuals were seen dancing, reciting bhajans, and singing other songs while dressed traditionally.

Images of Lord Ram appeared on the screens at Times Square. A large number of people waved the saffron flags with Ram’s image.

Members of the ‘Overseas Friends of Ram Mandir’ were distributing laddoos at Times Square in the meanwhile.

According to Prem Bhandari, an organization member, the occasion is being lavishly commemorated throughout the US. He was grateful to Modi for using this occasion to bridge cultural divides.

“We never imagined that this wonderful day would come to pass within our lifetimes. Very soon, the Pran Pratishtha ritual will occur. Times Square is looking much like Ayodhya as people celebrate today there too. The Indian diaspora is commemorating this day in a number of locations, according to Bhandari.

A few billboards near Times Square had an image of Lord Ram illuminated.

Today is the day when the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be dedicated. A 50-year project that has been anticipated by multitudes is this one from the BJP. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, took a plane to Ayodhya to participate in the historic occasion.

We are all really privileged to be living at this historic time. We need to embrace a fresh outlook for the nation and reenergize ourselves, Modi said.
