Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican running for president, criticizes Zelenskyy’s request for US funding for Ukrainian elections

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican running for president, criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for asking the US for more money to organize elections in the war-torn nation and said that he is likely to be the party’s choice for the 2024 presidential election.

Ramaswamy, 38, defended his claim that if elected US president, he would stop providing help to Ukraine in an interview with Fox News.

To be absolutely clear, I also have an issue with appeasement. With the American people, we must be honest. “Ukraine is not good just because Putin is an evil dictator, which he undoubtedly is,” he remarked.

“Eleven opposition parties have been outlawed in this nation (Ukraine). This nation, whose president only last week praised a Nazi inside his own ranks, has threatening to prevent the United States from holding its own regular elections this year unless it receives additional cash, Ramaswamy added.

Ramaswamy said that he is now in third and fourth place in important national surveys and is likely to win the Republican party’s nomination for president in the November 2024 elections.

“The majority of people in this nation didn’t know who I was six months ago, or even five months ago. In many circumstances, we are now polling third nationally on average, he stated.

“I believe we are headed towards the nomination. But this isn’t about me, in my opinion. Trump is not the subject. It’s about prioritizing America. I believe that message is being heard all around the nation. To reach the next generation, you’ll need someone from a different generation, the Indian American leader remarked.

In response to a query, he justified his choice to sign up for Tik-Tok.

Look at the hypocrisy of those on stage; the Democrats are definitely on this platform. “Nikki Haley’s own adult daughter uses TikTok and is promoting the virtue of avoiding it on stage,” he remarked.

“In order to bring about change in this nation, we must win elections. We cannot just retreat into our own echo chambers. So, yeah, I do want to win by a wide margin. I want to connect with young people so that we can enact measures that I support, including limiting social media use among children under the age of 16, he added.

In order to implement ideas like proclaiming economic independence from China, we must have a genuine, open conversation. Many Republicans, in my opinion, are being hypocritical. You only want to use other businesses, like Airbnb. Like TikTok or any other firm, Airbnb provides the Chinese Communist Party with our customer data. Therefore, it is irrelevant that they are owned by Americans, he added.

“Even when their own children are on the same platform, these politicians are misleading the American people and using it to demonstrate their goodness. Hypocrisy, he continued.

The American dream, according to Ramaswamy, is real since it has been his experience.

“I have established several multibillion-dollar businesses. I believe that the time is right for a CEO to occupy the White House. The problem with Bidenomics is growing pricing. Inflation is that. While wages are stagnating, higher mortgage rates are a result of rising interest rates, the economist said.

“I can relate to employees’ frustrations. What will we do next? First, solve the issue by fostering economic expansion. Unlock the power of America. Burn coal, frack it, and embrace nuclear power. By ceasing to give individuals additional money—taxpayer money—to remain at home, you can get them back to work.

Reverse the majority of federal rules that were found to be illegal in West Virginia v. EPA by the Supreme Court. Most of those government restrictions, in my opinion, violate the Constitution. I’ll revoke them starting today. That opens up our economy, he said.
