Man, 30, Passes Away From Dengue In Gurugram

An official said on Wednesday that a 30-year-old chartered accountant passed away at a hospital here while receiving care for dengue. According to the senior health department official, the individual was a resident of the Mahendragarh district.

The district now has 64 dengue patients after two further cases were detected on Wednesday, he added.

“At the moment, 11 dengue patients are being treated at the district’s government facilities. According to J P Rajliwal, district surveillance officer for the health department, fast teams of the department’s health department visited 11,148 homes on Wednesday and discovered dengue larvae in 173 of them.

Teams from the health department are reportedly visiting more than 10,000 homes every day to monitor mosquito reproduction.
