Admit Cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test Will Be Released Soon by CBSE

New Delhi: The test city information slips and admission cards for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be made available shortly by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). When the admission cards are available, candidates may download them by going to the CTET’s official website.
Two shifts of the test are planned on January 21, 2024. There will be two shifts: one from 9:30 am to 12 pm and the other from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

The exam will be given in 135 places throughout the nation in 20 different languages.
Candidates should check and confirm their personal information, including name, picture, signature, and other data, after downloading their admission card from the website. They need to notify the CBSE if there is a mistake.

One of the prerequisites for employment as a teacher in any of the schools listed in Clause (n) of Section 2 of the RTE Act is the completion of the CTET. Candidates must pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), which will be administered in compliance with the National Council for Teacher Education’s (NCTE) guidelines by the relevant government.

The Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi has been given the authority to administer the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The justification for making the TET a prerequisite for teaching appointments is that doing so would introduce national standards and benchmarks for teacher quality into the hiring process, encourage teacher education institutions and their students to raise their performance levels even further, and send a clear message to all parties involved that the government places a high priority on teacher quality.
