Affiliation with 36 schools in Bihar and Jharkhand is canceled by CBSE

36 schools have had their accreditation revoked by the Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, as a result of significant action. Each of these schools is under the board’s Patna zone. These include ten schools in Jharkhand and twenty-six schools in the state of Bihar, according to the information. All of these schools’ lists are accessible on the board’s website. Parents and students have also received warnings over this.

WHY WAS THE PARTNERSHIP CALLED OFF?
The board claims that while charging students exorbitant fees, none of these institutions offered any facilities to aid with their education or accommodations. The board found these schools via an inquiry, and after acting decisively, it has revoked the recognition of all of these careless institutions.

Nonetheless, the board has granted the kids here one more opportunity to turn in their exams since CBSE has also taken care to ensure that the decision should not jeopardize the future of the children studying in these institutions. We would like to inform you that over 7,000 students have registered for the board test at these institutions.

It is notable that schools need to adhere to certain standards established by the CBSE Board in order to get accreditation from the Board. We refer to this as the CBSE Affiliation By-Laws. These include regulations on the facilities of the school, the lab, the library, the number of classes, the quality of instruction, how extracurricular activities are organized, and other matters. If a school doesn’t meet these requirements, its recognition is revoked.

In the meanwhile, the board had already stopped supporting 25 Manipur government schools. These schools, which are mostly located in the state’s hill areas, have received affiliation with the CBSE upon request by the schools. Anjali Chongtham, Manipur’s Joint Secretary for Education (School), stated that the CBSE withdrew the affiliation after the state government requested in writing on December 15th that the affiliation be canceled, citing the fact that the no-objection certificates these schools submitted were not issued by authorized state government employees.
