AAP accuses Chanpreet of working for the BJP as well and criticizes efforts to “tarnish” its reputation

Chanpreet Singh, who was detained by the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday in connection with the excise policy issue, was allegedly employed by the Congress, Trinamool Congress, and “even the BJP,” according to the AAP. However, the saffron party was attempting to damage the reputation of both the AAP and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Chanpreet Singh, who supposedly “managed” AAP funding for the Goa assembly elections, was taken into custody by the ED on Monday in connection with a money laundering case involving the Delhi excise policy. Singh was detained in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, according to official sources (PMLA).

Leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and minister for Delhi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, said on Tuesday during a news conference that the BJP was attempting to damage the reputation of both his party and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

“The CBI also detained Chanpreet Singh, who was taken into custody by the ED, the previous year. Even last year, a CBI court granted him bail. He is now under arrest by the ED. Singh freelances for a variety of clients. He has held positions in the BJP, the Trinamool Congress, and the Congress. Bharadwaj said, “I’m not stating anything, but it’s in the CBI paperwork.

He said that while there are efforts to damage Kejriwal’s and the AAP’s reputation, people are not yet ready to accept the accusations made against the chief minister and the group.

“The BJP is trying to malign the image of Kejriwal and AAP,” he said.

The BJP and ED did not respond right away.
