After a blocked return to the BJP, Eknath Khadse faces an unclear future

Eknath Khadse, the controversial politician, is stuck where he is. He has left the NCP, which is run by Sharad Pawar, and it is completely unclear when he will join the BJP, his parent party.

According to Khadse, he has no idea what his political future holds. He was supposed to join the BJP in front of BJP leader J. P. Nadda and Union home minister Amit Shah, according to his own account.

In actuality, it was thought that the occasion would just be ceremonial.

But the party leadership shelved the plan indefinitely after two prominent BJP officials said Khadse’s admission would negatively affect the results of the Lok Sabha elections.

Khadse has received a great deal of credit for the triumph of the BJP in north Maharashtra. He made the party stronger at the grassroots, and as a result, the BJP was represented by the greatest number of local parliamentarians. From 1995 until 1999, he held important positions in the Shiv Sena-BJP government. In 2014, Devendra Fadnavis became the chief minister and took over over twelve ministries under his leadership.

After a year, there were rifts in his and Fadnavis’s relationship. Khadse was then accused of corruption, and the BJP demanded that he resign. After he resigned, he joined Sharad Pawar’s party, for which he was elected to the legislature.

But Khadse believed it would be best if he returned to the BJP because peace was eluding him. Joining it today, however, feels like a far-off fantasy.

Ujjwal Nikam spent two years preparing for the election.
Since the BJP leadership chose to withdraw Poonam Mahajan, it has been searching for a clean, apolitical, and Marathi face, since Sena (UBT) has nominated only Marathi nominees, although the majority of its candidates in Mumbai are not Marathi. Even though Ujjwal Nikam is not from Mumbai, it was considered that he would be a preferable option after a number of viable, non-political candidates were examined. A group under the PM’s direction authorized the Jalgaon special public prosecutor’s candidacy.

Within the BJP, the general consensus was that Poonam Mahajan had established herself in both the Legislative Assembly and the organization during her first term. However, she performed terribly in the second term because she had drifted away from party activists at the grassroots level. In actuality, she stayed out of the majority of Mumbai’s party activities.

Even though Nikam’s identity didn’t come to light until the end of March, he had been discreetly getting ready for a while. He was on every TV station for the last two years. In addition to sharing his opinions on criminal problems, he was more outspoken on constitutional topics, especially in the cases he brought before the Supreme Court, ECI, and the Speaker about the conflict between the two Sena and NCP groups.
