An elderly lady was shot at IGI Airport

A bullet found inside the purse of a sixty-two-year-old lady who was about to leave the country was discovered at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. She was shot with live ammo by a Central Industrial Security Force Sub Inspector, who subsequently turned her over to the police, who filed a formal complaint under Section 25 of the Arms Act.

The suspected elderly lady P Kaur was scheduled to board a Singapore Airlines aircraft for Singapore at around 9 p.m. on April 5th, according to the FIR.

The FIR said that “an image resembling ammunition was observed on the monitor of the scanning machine during the course of screening the said passenger’s handbag.”
