Andhra CM: Opposition Parties’ Leader Fighting Alone Jagan

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and leader of the YSRCP, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, made many accusations against him on Wednesday at this place. These accusations came from the TDP, Janasena, BJP, Congress, certain media outlets, and two of his sisters.

As part of the “Memanta Siddham” (we are all ready) election campaign bus trip, the YSRCP chairman addressed a public assembly at Proddaturu in the Kadapa district, saying that they are all “united in a battle against one man.”

“To gain support, TDP and Janasena invited the BJP, a center-right party. Additionally, they subtly introduced the Congress, a different party, from the center. Collectively, they are fighting against one Jagan. Not only that, but they also brought two of my sisters. “They are all fighting together against a single man,” Reddy said.

Reddy was speaking about his cousin Sunitha Narreddy, who is spearheading an investigation into her father Y S Vivekananda Reddy’s death, and his younger sister Y S Sharmila, president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).

He said that just one man—Jagan—had terrified them all, and that his opponents lacked the bravery to take on him by himself. He also said that he has the blessing of God and the backing of millions of people.

He also referred to the National Democratic Alliance, which consists of the TDP, BJP, and Janasena, as a “alliance of conspiracies” and urged the people of the state to allow the governing party to easily win every assembly and Lok Sabha seat in order to “teach a fitting lesson” to the opposition.

Regarding the unsolved murder of his uncle, Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy and the recent cocaine bust at the Vizag port, Reddy said that opposition parties were waging a vicious campaign against him.

The CM said that the business that imported the container belonged to the families of TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Andhra Pradesh BJP chairman D Purandeswari.

In the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, Reddy pleaded with voters to support the YSRCP electoral symbol fan.

The chief minister claimed to have delivered on 99% of his electoral pledges and said that he has paid out Rs 2.7 lakh crore via direct benefit transfer (DBT) to beneficiaries of different social initiatives.

He began his election campaign earlier today with a 21-day bus journey that left from Idupulupaya in the Kadapa district.

Reddy took part in prayers at the “samadhi” of his late father, former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, before embarking on the “Memanta Siddham” trip.

He presented flowers to the statue of his father. During the first day, the bus traveled the Kamalapuram, Jammalamadugu, and Proddaturu constituencies, passing via the villages of Vempalli, V N Palli, Yerraguntla, Potladutti, and Proddaturu town.

The first day’s activities came to a close in Allagadda in the Nandyala district when the YSRCP leader spoke at a public meeting at the Proddaturu bypass road.

He will take part in a conversation in Yerraguntla in Allagadda at approximately 11 a.m. on the second day of the trip, and he will then speak at a public meeting in Nandyala at around 5 p.m.

This bus trip is Reddy’s first campaign since the Election Commission released the dates for the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

The bus journey started in Idupulupaya and is expected to pass through 21 districts and 148 assembly constituencies before ending in Icchapuram in the Srikakulam district of north Andhra Pradesh.

With the “Memanta Siddham” bus trip, Reddy will have the chance to attend public gatherings and engage in one-on-one conversations with individuals, providing an avenue for grassroots engagement.

The bus tour’s first phase would encompass the six districts of Kadapa, Kurnool, Annamayya, Tirupati, and Chittoor, all of which are located in the Rayalaseema area.

To communicate that the YSRCP is prepared in every district and parliamentary seat, the governing party has chosen to hold electoral gatherings every day of the bus trip.

Additionally, throughout the trip, the YSRCP hopes to schedule talks in a minimum of two assembly constituencies within a Lok Sabha seat.

The chairman of the YSRCP spoke at four sizable Siddham poll campaign rallies in Bheemili, Eluru, Anantapur, and Medarametla, which included the state’s main areas, before the election timetable was announced.

On May 13, Andhra Pradesh will hold elections for the 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. The results will be counted on June 4.
