Army Jawan on Leave Disappears in Kulgam, J&K; Search Operation Underway; Blood Stains Found on His Car

Javed Ahmad Wani, an Indian army soldier, vanished in Kashmir’s Kulgam region. In the missing soldier’s automobile, blood traces were discovered by authorities.

Search efforts to locate the jawan in the vicinity are now finished. Wani, who was scheduled to resume his assignment in Leh today, is still unaccounted for. According to sources, after producing leads, additional locations will be looked into.

Nobody has been able to determine the precise cause of his disappearance or abduction up to this point.

Sources claim that several residents were detained and interrogated.

In Ladakh on assignment, Wani returned home while on leave. He was reportedly missing since Saturday.

The 25-year-old soldier vanished after leaving his Chowalgam home to go shopping. His Alto automobile has been delivered to a nearby police station. The goods he purchased were also discovered in the vehicle, along with one of his slippers.

In a video, BJP leader Altaf Thakur said that this was a new strategy being used by extremists to kill innocent civilians. He said, “We will locate those responsible for the soldier’s abduction, and they will be punished.

Thakur vehemently condemned the “cowardly act of terrorists” that resulted in the kidnapping of a young soldier who was on leave in Kulgam. “The neighboring country is trying to show its presence through terrorism, frustrated by the successful G20 event, peaceful Muharram procession, and peaceful environment in Kashmir,” Thakur said.

He said that this was only a frustrated effort that had failed. Thakur asked the senior police officials to find the culprits and return the missing soldier securely to his home.

An extensive search effort has been undertaken by the army and police, who are now inspecting the region. Wani’s family was alerted by his neighbors that his automobile was parked on the street with the windows open.

Agencies are attempting to determine the true cause of this issue.
