Before the Ram Mandir Ceremony, Central Forces in J&K Warn Troops Due to Intelligence of a “Law & Order Threat” | Exclusive

The central troops stationed in Jammu and Kashmir have increased their state of alertness ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event scheduled for January 22 at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

News18 was informed by sources that senior authorities have sent a thorough message informing soldiers about two major events that are coming up: the consecration ceremony and Republic Day festivities.

They are especially worried about possible terrorist attacks that might target Union Territory residents, religious facilities, and security officers.

One of the main military groups in the area, the CRPF, has given its soldiers explicit orders, telling them to be on the lookout and follow backup plans. Soldiers are advised not to move in isolation and are reminded of how important it is to abide by the rules. Other forces stationed in J&K, including the BSF, have issued similar advisories in an effort to prevent any unfortunate occurrence.

A senior CRPF officer outlined the specific directives given to soldiers about the two activities that are scheduled for January 22 and 26. A Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) is of utmost importance, and there should be more briefings prior to the Pran Pratishtha event at Ayodhya.

Information received by intelligence services points to a possible danger to law and order, as terrorists seek to destabilize the situation by attacking security personnel, especially in remote areas. The increased alert level emphasizes the safety precautions taken to prevent any unwanted events during these important events.

Threats to disrupt the Ram Mandir event have already been made by pro-Khalistani entities. Declared terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has called for the attack on the Army in Kashmir, naming Delhi as his next target on Republic Day, in a new video that he has published.

It is the responsibility of senior commanders to keep an eye on troop readiness and ground awareness. Before beginning any operations, they have been requested to confirm any information and coordinate with central intelligence agencies.
