Delhi: Man Strangulates Wife, Buries Body in Forest After Being Angered by Her Behavior; 3 Arrested

In the Fatehpur Beri neighborhood of southwest Delhi, a man strangled his 31-year-old wife because he was upset with her “behavior.”

In addition to the spouse, two other persons participated in the murder. The three suspects have all been taken into custody.

According to authorities, the lady was strangled before having her corpse discarded close to the Jheel Khurd border in a bush.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary, this was discovered after police got a PCR report about a corpse in Fatehpur Beri, at which point the teams raced to the scene and seized it.

The movement of an autorickshaw around 1:40 am on Saturday appeared suspicious, according to technological and manual observation, the police said.

The three-wheeler’s whereabouts was subsequently monitored, and Arun, the driver, was found after using the registration number to identify the vehicle.

Arun recognized the dead as Sweety, Dharamveer’s wife. He said that he and his in-laws, Nangloi residents Dharamveer and Satyavan, strangled Sweety close to the Haryana border and dumped the corpse in the jungle.

The car driver said that Dharamveer was dissatisfied with his wife’s actions since she had been evading the family for months.

The wife’s parents and relatives are still unknown since Dharamveer paid an unknown lady 70,000 rupees to marry her.

Never once did the lady bring up her parents or other relatives. According to the authorities, she merely claimed to be from Patna in Bihar.

According to them, a complaint has been filed at the Fatehpur Beri police station in connection with the woman’s murder under sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of crime or providing false information to screen criminal), and 34 (common purpose) of the India Penal Code.

The autorickshaw used to commit the crime was recovered, and the three suspects were detained, according to police. The DCP noted that more investigation into the matter is ongoing.
