‘Durga Pandal’ is opened in Ranchi by Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren

Hemant Soren, the chief minister of Jharkhand, opened a “Durga Pandal” at Ranchi’s Harmu Bazaar on Thursday amid the celebrations and hype surrounding Navratri.On the fifth day of Navratri, devotees congregated at the Pandal to get a sight of Goddess Durga.
‘Durga Pandals’ are being planned all throughout the nation during the celebrations.

The Behala Nutan Dal Club organized a “Pandal” in Kolkata, West Bengal, with a “Golgappa” (Water balls) motif.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, opened a pandal in Kolkata with a “Ram temple” motif earlier on Monday.

In the meanwhile, events known as “Garba” are taking place around the nation as a way to honor and show devotion to Goddess Durga.

Taking part in the ‘Garba’ festival in Surat, Gujarat, with all of her zeal and vigor was Union Minister Darshana Jardosh.

The nine-day Shardiya Navratri celebration is held in honor of Maa Durga and her nine manifestations, known as Navdurga. Sanskrit’s word for Navratri is “nine nights.” Throughout the year, Hindus celebrate a total of four Navratris.

Shardiya Navratri is celebrated from Ashwin Shukla Paksha’s Navami till the Pratipada.

While it is celebrated throughout the country with considerable pomp, certain customs are more often followed in different states.

There are many different methods to celebrate Navratri in India. Throughout the nation, celebrations known as Ram Leela, which include episodes from the Ramayana, are held.
