During his visit to Telangana, PM Modi offers prayers at the renowned Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited this ancient Telangana town to lay the cornerstone for multiple infrastructure development projects costing over Rs 6,100 crore and to address a public gathering. He also offered prayers at the site’s well-known Goddess Bhadrakali temple.

Modi offered prayers at the shrine as he was joined by other politicians, including G Kishan Reddy, the recently appointed Telangana BJP president and Union Tourism Minister.

The PM flew into Hyderabad earlier in the day on a special aircraft before flying into Warangal in a helicopter.

Leaving for Warangal to attend a function where we will launch or lay the cornerstone for development works worth more than Rs. 6100 crores, Modi tweeted before departing for Warangal. These projects deal with a variety of fields, including railroads and roadways. They will help Telangana’s citizens.

K T Rama Rao, the working president of the governing BRS, said that the NDA administration at the federal level had been “anti-Telangana” for the last nine years, and that his party will “boycott” Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state on July 8.
