Elected leaders’ alienation caused them to depart: Kunwar

The top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), who lost MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural to the BJP on Wednesday, were blamed by the party’s Amritsar North MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap.

“After all, something went wrong somewhere! What justice is this—distant from loved ones, dishonesty, and stranger embracing? Kunwar Vijay tweeted. Political watchers believe that Kunwar Vijay Pratap intended to communicate that the state leadership of the party remained connected to those who were not elected on party platforms while keeping a distance from the elected leaders.
