Himachal crisis: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu promises to demonstrate the majority of the Congress government

The Congress has requested assistance from DK Shivakumar, the deputy chief minister of Karnataka and the party’s principal troubleshooter, in resolving the political situation in Himachal Pradesh. A day after the Congress, with a clear majority in the state legislature, shamefully lost its one Rajya Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, the governing party’s MLAs are in contact, the BJP said today, indicating that it would soon form a government.

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, has pledged to demonstrate his party’s majority in the House. “I have not offered my resignation to anybody, nor have they requested it from me. We’ll demonstrate the majority. He said, “The people of Himachal Pradesh and I will triumph.”

The son of late chief minister Virbhadra Singh, Vikramaditya Singh, a Congress MLA, has resigned from his position as a minister in the cabinet of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. He said that the Himachal Pradesh administration was suppressing the MLAs’ views. “I have always helped to keep the government operating with the appropriate discipline and have respect for the leadership and the CM. There were efforts made by certain people to make me seem bad about my role as a cabinet minister. I appreciate the Chief Minister, but the Council of Ministers has to work together. This is a betrayal of trust, which is what brought us to this point,” he said.

Vikramaditya Singh, who defied the official policy of the Congress party by attending the Ayodhya event in January, expressed his sad feelings against the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu administration today. They were unable to locate a little area for his monument on Mall Road. This person served as the state’s chief minister six times and is credited with the formation of the current administration in the state. This administration has treated my late father with the utmost respect. We are sentimental individuals who don’t care about postings. However, this is very regrettable. Not in a political sense, but in an emotional one.

It’s likely that the BJP will shortly schedule a trust vote. Meanwhile, the speaker of the Himachal Pradesh legislature dismissed fifteen BJP members on Wednesday morning for reportedly engaging in inappropriate behavior and yelling slogans. The MLAs who have been suspended are Hans Raj, Janak Raj, Balbir Verma, Trilok Jamwal, Surender Shori, Hans Raj, Vipin Singh Parmar, Randheer Sharma, Lokender Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Puran Thakur, Inder Singh Gandhi, Dileep Thakur, and Inder Singh Gandhi.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla met with members of the BJP Assembly. “We have relayed the events of the assembly to the governor…We asked for a division of votes during the financial measure in the assembly, but it was denied, and the House had two adjournments. It was improper how marshals handled our MLAs. We question that the speaker of the Vidhan Sabha has the authority to suspend BJP MLAs and those Congress MLAs who supported the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections. The Congress administration no longer has the legitimacy to continue in office, according to former chief minister Jairam Thakur.

In the meanwhile, the BJP will establish a government in the state, according to Harsh Mahajan, the BJP leader who beat Congress veteran Abhishek Manu Singhvi in Tuesday’s Rajya Sabha poll. He said there are contacts between the BJP and a number of Congress MLAs. “The state’s government would be formed by the BJP. A few more Congress MLAs have been in contact with us. A few of their ministers and MLAs gave me phone calls. The following several hours will bring about a shift in the scenario, and you will see the BJP forming its administration shortly.

The Congress is not going to take over here for the next ten to twenty years,” he told ANI.
On Wednesday, DK Shivakumar said that he had been invited to visit Himachal Pradesh by the Congress leadership. “I should be there, per the directive from the Congress party. Why the BJP is in such a rush is beyond me. This kind of horse dealing might come back to haunt you one day.”I have faith that every lawmaker in our state will remain devoted to the party,” he said.

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari responded to the happenings by saying that the BJP coerces MLAs to cross-vote with the use of money and resources. “Misuse of funds and equipment has occurred since the BJP took office, and authorities are scrutinizing the party as if it were their frontal organization. All of this has led to the onset of cross-voting and party flipping. There is nothing novel about this. We are disappointed that we were unable to help the well-known candidate Abhishek Singhvi win the race. He said, “I am sure that our two senior officials, who have already visited the location, will look into the matter, gather all relevant information immediately, and forward it to the higher leadership.

Anurag Thakur, a BJP politician and union minister, said that the public had been asking Himachal MLAs questions. “The Congress used grandiose and fraudulent promises to build a government in Himachal Pradesh. None of those pledges were kept after the administration was established. When Congress MLAs visited their districts, people used to express questions, but they never received a response and nothing got done. What was the driving force for Congress MLAs leaving their own party in less than 14 months? He said, “They gave a ticket to a non-Himachali person, which is one of the reasons.”

Six Congress MLAs who supported the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections have since moved for Haryana. The MLAs slept the night at a Panchkula hotel, including Rajinder Rana and Ravi Thakur. They allegedly took off in a helicopter and headed to an unknown place. The MLAs were dissatisfied with Sukhu’s manner of doing things.
In the Himachal legislature, the BJP has 25 MLAs whereas the Congress has 40. Independents occupy the last three seats.
