If the BJP wins control of Odisha, Samal pledges an MSP of Rs 3,100 for rice and 7L employment

In light of the approaching elections and the preparedness of candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly seats, state BJP president Manmohan Samal moved to expedite his campaign promises to voters, targeting key demographics such as youth, working class, farmers, and the impoverished.

Samal said that if the BJP wins the state’s election and takes power, the saffron party would generate at least seven lakh employment annually in addition to guaranteeing that the minimum support price (MSP) of paddy will increase to Rs 3,100 from Rs 2,183 per quintal.

Speaking to party officials and employees at the BJP state headquarters in this city, Samal said that under the BJD government’s protracted rule, the state’s agricultural sector had been neglected and that farmers’ interests had not been adequately safeguarded. As soon as the BJP administration takes power after the elections, it would raise the MSP for paddy, including the bonus amount. Samal said that the BJP would generate seven lakh government jobs if it comes to power, alluding to the state government’s dismal record of handling young unemployment.

“Odisha would see comprehensive development under a BJP administration. There will be measures implemented to guarantee that no one leaves the state to work as a “dadan” (bound) laborer elsewhere in the nation,” he said. Furthermore, he said that by not putting the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana into effect, the government has failed to safeguard the interests of the average person. According to him, the BJP would put the plan into effect in the state as soon as it is elected.

Samal, who took a hard stance against the state administration, said that the BJD had empathy for the lower and middle classes. The chit fund fraud has caused thousands of individuals to lose their money, and the state government hasn’t done anything to reimburse the investors who were duped by the shady operators.

“All small depositors who had parted with their hard-earned money in the hopes of receiving excellent returns would get their invested amount back, the BJP will make sure of it. Along with eliminating corruption from the system, the BJP will also lead an impure-free administration. Growth and progress are there wherever the BJP is present, he said.

Samal took a hard stance against BJD leaders who attempted to fabricate an alliance with the BJP in order to win the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. He stated, “This false perception created by BJD has been exposed and the BJP will certainly come to power in Odisha this time.” He also urged the leaders and members of his party to spread the word about the state’s overall growth.
