In Chhattisgarh, a 15-year-old is detained for raping a child

RAIPUR: Police in the city of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, claimed on Monday that a 15-year-old boy had locked himself in a toilet with a three-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her, ignoring the child’s cries and her mother’s frantic knocking on the door.
The toddler had terrible wounds and was bleeding heavily when neighbours came and forced the door open.

According to the police, she had bite marks all over her body. The girl passed away while receiving therapy.
Police are interviewing the accused after filing a complaint under the Pocso Act. The accused’s family owned the home where the girl and her parents were tenants, according to Bilaspur city SP Umesh Prasad Gupta. The child attempted to flee but was apprehended and turned over to the police.
At the nearby police station, a sizable gathering of people called for strict measures to be taken against the guilty. When SP Rajnesh Singh came, he took charge of the circumstancess. They clarified that the Juvenile Justice Act’s guidelines will be followed.
