In Kerala School, Several Children Are Sickened by Suspected Food Poisoning

Several students at a private school in Kothamangalam were unwell last week after reportedly eating the feast that was prepared as part of the Onam festivities at their institution, according to a suspected case of food poisoning.

The event was first discovered on Tuesday, according to the Kothamangalam police, who said they will be recording the parent’s testimony today.

An officer stated, “Thereafter, a case will be registered, and we will investigate.”

Some parents claim that the sick children drank water from the school before becoming sick.

He said that several youngsters were still receiving treatment at numerous hospitals and that the precise number of kids afflicted was now unknown.

at the meanwhile, parents of several of the afflicted children informed the media that despite the many medications and injections they had received at home and at the hospital, their children had been feeling under the weather since last week and were still lethargic.

“Since Saturday night (August 26), my kids have had a fever, and when it would not go away, we brought them to the hospital. They are already frail and depleted of vitality, a parent stated.
