It’s like “gharvapsi” to join the Saffron Party, says Naveen Jindal

Naveen Jindal, the Kurukshetra-born BJP candidate for Lok Sabha, kicked off his campaign today in Shahabad and said that he saw joining the BJP as a “gharvapsi.” On May 2, Jindal said he would submit his candidacy.

“I have family relations with Kurukshetra and the BJP is not a new party for me, as Jindal Sahib (OP Jindal) was the joint candidate of the BJP and Haryana Vikas Party in the 1996 elections,” Naveen Jindal said to the party members. For me, joining the BJP was really a gharvapsi.

“You provided me the chance to work for you twice, and I have done a great job throughout that time. I have another chance to help you, thanks to the BJP. We shall collaborate as members of the Modi family to meet the goal of achieving India’s development by 2047,” he said.

“Under Modi’s leadership, road, rail, and air connectivity have strengthened over the last ten years,” Jindal said. The nation has seen significant growth, and the goal of the Ram Temple has been realized. I’ll do all in my power to fulfill Kurukshetra’s people’s dreams.

The party has launched its “sankalp patra,” and it has concentrated on all segments of society, according to Jindal, who was speaking to the journalists. I am highly known and have lived in Kurukshetra for a long time. The public’s support has been overwhelming, and we are optimistic that the BJP will win the seat. On May 2, I will submit my nomination.

I cordially urge everyone to come along, bestow blessings, and support me in securing a resounding victory in the polls. “I believe in performing and not making statements,” Jindal stated in response to Sushil Gupta, the candidate for the INDIA group, posing the challenge of an open debate. Since I respect each and every applicant, I don’t want to go to that extent.

Pawan Garg, the former district chairman of the Congress, who had said he would leave the party to back Jindal, joined the BJP today accompanied by his followers.

Present on the event were state minister Subhash Sudha, BJP district president Ravi Battan, former minister Krishan Kumar Bedi, and a number of senior BJP officials.
