Mayawati demands stringent prosecution in the twin murder case in Budaun

Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and a former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has demanded stringent judicial action in the Budaun double murder case, in which a man murdered two children, according to a news agency.

The leader of the BSP also said that politics should not be involved in the Budaun double murder case.

“The terrible murder of two brothers in Badaun is an extremely sad and strongly condemned tragedy. Strict judicial action against the offenders is required to prevent politics from getting in the way of law and order, particularly during election season,” she said on X.

Two kids in Baba Colony in Badaun were brutally hacked to death on Tuesday. Subsequently, it was claimed that Sajid, one of the suspects engaged in the event, was slain in a confrontation with the police.

An eyewitness to the event and the sibling of the two dead children who is still alive has said that two individuals entered the home and brought his brothers out onto the terrace.

The victim’s father mentioned his wife’s pregnancy in his complaint, claiming that the accused had visited his home to demand money.

“He stated he was worried and was going for a stroll on the terrace when the children’s mother went inside to get money. One of the kids went with him. By the time my wife came back with money, guy was holding a knife. Sajid informed Vinod’s wife that he had finished his duties for the day, according to the FIR.
