Modi claims the administration works for the wellbeing of the people, citing Maoist terrain

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress for corruption while reiterating his government’s commitment to the poor’s empowerment. Speaking at the BJP’s “Vijay Sankalp Shankhnad” rally in the Bastar district of Narayanpur, where elections are scheduled for April 19, Modi said that, as a “son of the poor,” he is better able to understand their urgent demands.

In an attempt to win their support, he argued that his government’s welfare programs allowed the underprivileged to save money for the future and that each vote for the lotus symbol would increase Modi’s ability to transform the country into a “Viksit Bharat.” He mentioned other welfare initiatives, including the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Jan Aushadhi centers, Eklavya residential schools, MSP for around 100 forest products, and a special ministry for tribal care.

The Prime Minister said that the Congress’s “licence to loot” had been revoked by his administration, which took control at the Center in 2014. Some get enraged and defend the corrupt when I take action against them. However, Modi’s assurance would guarantee that the dishonest people must serve their sentences in prison, the man said.

The welfare of the impoverished was the first focus of the BJP’s stable, powerful administration. He said that for decades after independence, the Congress administration disregarded the needs of the impoverished and showed little concern for their existence or issues.

In response, Deepak Baij, the president of the Chhattisgarh Congress, questioned, “Why is PM Modi silent on rising inflation, unemployment, and problems faced by farmers and tribal people?” The PM called people’s attention to the Ayodhya-built Ram Temple, citing the impending Ram Navami. “There is now a wonderful temple for our Ram Lalla instead of a tent. The building of the temple, which demonstrates Congress’ propensity for appeasement, has angered both the Congress and the INDI Alliance. The Muslim League left its mark on the Congress manifesto, he said.

He continued by saying that it was only fitting that the people of Chhattisgarh, Lord Ram’s “nanihal” (birthplace of maternal grandparents), should be the happiest when their desire of a magnificent temple is realized after 500 years.

“It was the BJP that not only facilitated a tribal woman to become President of the country but also appointed the state’s first tribal chief minister,” Modi added, reiterating his pledge to offer a better life for tribal families.

“The poor can save money thanks to welfare schemes.”
