NIA raids 51 places in six states as part of the “Khalistan-gangster nexus”

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) was conducting search operations at more than 51 sites throughout the country on Wednesday as part of a nationwide crackdown on the Khalistan-gangster nexus. These premises belonged to affiliates of the Lawrence Bishnoi, Bambiha, and Arsh Dalla gangs.

Thirteen places in Rajasthan, thirty in Punjab, ten in Haryana, two in Delhi, and also in Uttar Pradesh (UP) were searched.

Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Bambiha, and Arsh Dalla as well as their accomplices are connected to the places. Of these three, Arsh Dalla apparently resides in Canada while Bishnoi is imprisoned in Rajasthan.

According to an NIA officer who wished to remain unnamed, “the raids are at locations in six states in connection with the three cases related to gangsters and terrorism connection.”

According to a source, a search operation is now taking place at properties owned by suspects connected to Khalistani terrorists, their followers, and linked banned organizations.

The raids began early on Wednesday and are still ongoing.

The NIA hasn’t made any public comments on the situation as of yet.

More information is awaited.
