NREDCAP and APSLDC are given SKOCH prizes
The development of the Intra State Open Access Settlement (ISOA) application earned Andhra Pradesh State Load Despatch Center (APSLDC) the SKOCH semi-finalist order of merit award, while New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of AP Ltd (NREDCAP) was recognized with the Business Connect Award as the Best Nodal Agency for promoting Pumped Storage Power (PSP) projects.
During a review meeting on Tuesday, Special Chief Secretary (energy) K Vijayanand complimented APSLDC and NREDCAP for winning accolades.
The Intra State Open Access Settlement (ISOA) program was created by the APSLDC’s internal IT team to facilitate quick energy settlements for OA users in an effort to address the delays in OA settlements. The DISCOMs may also expeditiously complete the process of issuing HT invoices to OA customers using this new application, he said.
According to Vijayanand, the Techno-Commercial Feasibility Reports (TCFR) have been completed for 39 likely sites with a combined potential of 44.79 gigawatts (GW), and the majority of feasible locations are undergoing the staged development of their DPRs.
He said, “Pinnapuram in Panyam mandal of Nandyal district is in advance stage of completion of the world’s largest Integrated Renewable Energy Storage Project (IREPS), with a capacity of 4,280 MW.”
