One Take | Young Man Furious Rahul Gandhi Sees to Disrupt Congress’s Zanjeer and Modi’s Deewaar

Rahul Gandhi is not happy. And he wants to use this rage to offer Nyay, as anger management programs instruct. That is the purpose of the “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.” Furthermore, it will serve as the cornerstone of the Congress platform for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Gandhi is attempting to refocus attention on what he believes to be the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s weak point by announcing the right to employment, which Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will make a big announcement about. Among the manifesto’s primary issues are women’s rights, growing costs, unemployment, and the underrepresentation of lower castes. Gandhi also aims to provide a counterbalance to the Modi juggernaut in his role as the enraged anti-establishment messiah.

Thus, why does he provide the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with an opportunity when he has a problem confronting the BJP? Similar to when Gandhi said, “Modi wants you to be on the phone and say Jai Shri Ram to divert attention,” as he concluded his address on unemployment.

That the BJP is expecting this is not very complicated. They may further their narrative that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), the leading group of the opposition, is anti-Hindu by using remarks like these from an enraged Gandhi. It is a certain self-goal in the post-Ram Mandir frenzy.

Gandhi, however, and the Congress disagree. He is convinced that young people who are seeking or losing employment will concur with him when he says this. They will do so in private, and Gandhi thinks this might be the tipping point.

RAM AND TRANSACTIONS
Perception and story construction are key components of politics. Furthermore, any association made between Ram and diversion on this score is certain to drive Congress insane. Combine this with his remarks on Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, corporate work, and weddings. Gandhi came out as too petty, which not only placed his major rival, Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party (SP), in a bind.

INTERESTED IN HIS OWN PEOPLE
However, Gandhi’s rage is directed elsewhere as well. He is as incensed about his party.

He had a lot of ideas when he started actively participating in politics in 2004 and took over the management of youth affairs. such as the need for top leaders to fight, even in losing battles, the necessity of bottom-up elections, the requirement for prior candidate announcements, etc. However, most of his appeals were ignored.

At the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, shortly after he resigned as the party president, he said that his slogan, “Chowkidaar Chor Hai,” was not well received by senior party members.

He hasn’t been able to control his rage, and it shows when he makes important decisions. The people he believes listen to him are the ones he chooses to depend on.

THE WISHLIST OF LOK SABHAI
This resentment is resurfacing, as many prominent figures remain hesitant to run in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Former chief ministers, several organization leaders, and those whose terms in the Rajya Sabha have either expired or are about to expire were on his wish list.

To finalize the tickets, the party will eventually convene its highest election body meeting. There are no compelling tales for the established cluster screening committees to share. Many of the people who might have wanted to run have either given up or declined. Persuading them is ongoing. However, others question why there is pressure on Gandhi and his sister Priyanka when they don’t make it apparent from where they would contest.

According to sources, Congress may ultimately release a few prominent or well-known individuals. Gandhi had, after all, persuaded some, like Randeep Surjewala, to run from a difficult seat like Jind, citing the “boss’s desire.”

Despite Pawan Singh’s embarrassing withdrawal from the Asansol seat, the BJP has gained an advantage by revealing its first list well in advance.

Gandhi and his advisers were hoping that the party could control his rage so that people would finally pay attention to him.
