PWD Minister: The “queen of controversies,” Kangana

The BJP candidate for the Mandi parliamentary seat, Kangana Ranaut, and the likely Congress candidate, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, have officially started sparring.

Kangana today went to her social media profile to explain that she was not a beef eater in response to Vikramaditya’s Facebook post, in which he said that it was a huge issue for our culture because beef eaters were running for office in the country of deities.

“I don’t eat any red meat, including beef. The utterly unfounded rumors that are being propagated about me are dishonorable. I’ve been supporting and campaigning for an Ayurvedic and yoga lifestyle for decades; using derogatory techniques won’t damage my reputation,” she stated. “My people are aware of who I am—a proud Hindu—and nothing will ever deceive them,” she said in closing.

Vikramaditya called her the “queen of controversies” and refuted her allegation shortly after she posted. In the past, she has acknowledged consuming meat during interviews and discussion programs. If she’s going back now, what can I say?” Vikramaditya said.

Vikramaditya reiterated his admiration for her as an actress and said she had no chance in the polls. “It is obvious that she will not prevail. He said, “She has no idea about the issues facing Himachal and on which the elections will be fought.”

“Remember that she is the queen of controversy. Vikramaditya said, “Everything she has said previously on various platforms will be brought up in the elections, and she will have to respond.”

Singh questioned Kangna more on the subjects for which she is running for office and the public’s support. “She is running for office not on concerns affecting the state’s citizens, but rather as the daughter of the state. There would be a lot of pyrotechnics during the campaign for the Mandi Parliamentary seat, Vikramaditya said. “The issues we must raise are that of employment, roads, hospitals, IITs, and IIMs.”
