“Ramrajya” is all about guaranteeing that all citizens have equal access to social programs: Chief Minister Yogi

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that his administration was making sure the average person was benefiting from social programs and that the growing use of technology in government operations is rapidly changing people’s lives.

He continued by saying that the core principles of Ramrajya are excellent governance and equal access to social programs for all citizens.

Speaking at a program hosted here by the departments of rural development and food and civil supplies, the chief minister made the comments.

“Reforms in every aspect of life, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have not only increased transparency but are also helping to put an end to corruption,” he said.

On the occasion, he opened 1,100 Annapurna Bhawans and introduced e-POS equipment connected to electronic weigh scales to 79,000 fair pricing stores around the state.

The Chief Minister said that every impoverished individual now receives food grains from the government thanks to the persistent efforts of public representatives.

“Those in need did not get rations before to 2014. The ration would be supplied somewhere else, but they possessed ration cards in their names. In reality, there were cases of hunger-related mortality in a number of the state’s districts prior to 2017,” he said.

But we’ve just begun using technology, including electronic scales and point-of-sale systems. This has caused significant changes in the way meals are distributed. About 15 crore people are benefitting from reforms implemented by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, which has led to the closure of about 80,000 ration quota stores in the state, Adityanath said.

The CM mentioned the technology-driven food distribution system, claiming that it has eliminated corruption inside the system in addition to solving the issue of hunger.

“Previously, the ration would vanish halfway through once it left the FCI warehouses. However, it is now being watched over from Lucknow to make sure the ration really makes it to the designated quota store. This modification adheres to the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Development for All) philosophy. This is Modi ji’s motto, and it’s evident on the ground,” he said.

According to him, such a situation was unthinkable before to 2014. These types of advancements were unthinkable, and providing rations to the impoverished was still a pipe dream.

He said that the 1,100 Annapurna Bhawans have now been transformed into permanent buildings for the ration quota. The ration stores won’t change, even if the store owner does. These Annapurna Bhawans will provide other services in addition to rations, such as reasonably priced generic medications and other necessities for the home.

He said that there would be ration storage facilities here as well. A Common Service Centre will also be available for the acquisition of documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates. The project is now beginning with 1100 stores, and in due course, the 80,000 ration quota stores around the state will also be included in this system.

The door to the wealth and safety of the people is opened by a responsive government. With development, wealth, and a safe environment as its only goals, the double engine government is operating at double speed. The CM said, “We are dedicated to pursuing the task of poverty eradication without any prejudice.

In an attack on the opposition, Adityanath said that ponds were dug under the previous administrations’ lack of vision, filled, and then excavated again under the MGNREGA. On the other hand, new building projects are now under progress, including the construction of Annapurna Bhawans. This gives individuals access to amenities in addition to jobs.

The Chief Minister said that the administration will shortly be implementing some more important measures. “Every ration card’s Aadhaar seeding process is now under progress. Every person is having their family IDs produced, which will show the facilities each member of the family receives and facilitate the identification and distribution of services.

He said that eventually all of Uttar Pradesh’s citizens’ income documentation will be in one location, eliminating the need for them to visit individual tehsils. This capability will be included into the inheritance process, and technology will also provide a lasting solution to the metering issue.

On this particular occasion, ten fair pricing sellers in the state received symbolic keys to the Annapurna Bhawans from the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister further gave the recipients ration packs on this occasion.
