Reviewing Morchas, organizing upcoming meetings, engaging the populace, and BJP brainstorming ahead of the 2024 elections

JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, and BL Santhosh, the party’s general secretary (organization), held a review of all the Morchas’ performances during the government’s month-long program to highlight its accomplishments during its nine years in office during a marathon meeting that lasted nearly four hours on Saturday in New Delhi.

The BJP leadership was shown the individual report cards from each of the morcha heads.

With just a year before the Lok Sabha elections, the party’s high leadership has already requested that these groups develop a future plan.

According to those familiar with the evolution, each of these divisions serves and represents a certain social stratum. As a result, each of them has been asked to develop a strategy for what they would do in their specific departments leading up to the next Lok Sabha elections, with programs starting at the booth level.

The sources said that the Morchas must explain their strategy over the next two weeks.

The general secretaries and the Morcha heads had first met, and at that meeting, the government’s accomplishments were also reviewed.

The BJP, which has launched the “Sampark Se Samarthan” campaign, which basically talks about reaching out to important individuals, is likely to prolong it by another 15 days or so, according to reputable sources who spoke to News18. The reaction to this initiative has been outstanding so far. At the conclusion of this campaign, we want to have built connections with more than five lakh individuals, a second insider informed News18.

In the following days, the BJP will concentrate on engaging with young voters by reaching out to the populace with government programs and assisting them in understanding their advantages.

“Various leaders have been asked to identify young voters, especially first-timers, and engage with them about their aspirations and ideas for New India,” one politician with knowledge of the conversation told News18.

This follows one of the encounters between the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To keep in touch with the young, leaders had advocated using cutting-edge communication tools and technology. He had urged the leaders of his party to be engaged on social media, particularly by posting videos on sites like Instagram, which the younger generation finds appealing.

On July 4, the BJP’s senior command will have another meeting with the MPs.

These sessions are reportedly a warm-up for the next gathering of party leaders, which will take place in the East, North, and South zones and include notable state officials as well as MPs, MLAs, and members of the national leadership. Organizational secretaries and state in charge representatives will likely preside over these sessions.

On July 6, Guwahati is slated to host a conference of the east region, which includes the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Nagaland, and Meghalaya.

On July 7, state delegates from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh will convene in the nation’s capital. There will be Uttarakhand.

On July 8 in Hyderabad, there will be a conference of the southern region, which includes Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Puducherry, Maharashtra, Goa, and Andaman and Nicobar Lakshadweep.

“The in charge and the organizational secretaries will update BJP National President JP Nadda on the results of these sessions. This last meeting would likely be presided over by Nadda and BL Santhosh, a party insider said News18.

Sunil Bansal, Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, CT Ravi, Dilip Saikia, Kailash Vijayvargiya, D Purandeswari, Dushyant Gautam, and Arun Singh are the current nine general secretaries for the BJP.
