Sena chief Sanjay Shirsat said his meeting with Raj Thackeray was personal

Sanjay Shirsat, the leader of the Shiv Sena, met with Raj Thackeray, the president of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), to start negotiations amid rumors that the MNS may join the Mahayuti coalition headed by the BJP.

The encounter, according to Shirsat, was a private visit and took place at Thackeray’s Shivthirth residence in Dadar. He thought back on his connection with Thackeray, which lasted for over 20 years and started when the two traveled through Marathwada together, according to PTI. Thackeray is the founder of the Shiv Sena.

The article claims that Shirsat said he would be open to the MNS joining the Mahayuti alliance and that doing so would strengthen the coalition of governments.

Notably, reports that the MNS and Mahayuti may combine forces were fuelled by Thackeray’s recent meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. However, the PTI article went on to say that this news has not received any official confirmation.

It is believed that Thackeray would state his position clearly when he hosts his annual rally on Gudi Padwa, the first day of the Marathi New Year.

There are plans to make a movie about MNS Chief Raj Thackeray.

A mid-day article, meanwhile, said that a new film on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray and his party is being prepared in response to the popularity of previous films that portrayed the lives of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and the late Anand Dighe.

The popular slogan “Lava re to video,” which Thackeray chanted during rallies before to the 2019 general election, served as the inspiration for the film. Thackeray wants to connect with every home by using the power of movies.

Film crews with lights, vanity trailers, and generators took over Thackeray’s house, Shivtirth, in Shivaji Park, Dadar, last week, according to MNS sources. According to the news, several of the projects have reportedly been shot in Shivtirth recently.

The new film, according to the source, is not a conventional biography but instead focuses on Thackeray and his party. The lives and achievements of certain people were the only focus of the earlier movies.

Previous creative endeavors that Thackeray worked on included the Marathi epic “Har Har Mahadev” and the photobiography of Bal Thackeray. He also emceed a private screening of Riteish Deshmukh’s action movie “Lai Bhaari,” which came out in 2014.
