Sisodia’s bail request: ED and CBI are notified

Delhi, New: In response to AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s request for temporary release in several charges related to his campaigning in the general election, a Delhi court on Friday sent notices to the ED and the CBI. The Central investigation agencies have been instructed by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of the CBI and ED to submit their responses by April 20, which is when the court is expected to hear the plea for a hearing.

a marathon scheduled on April 14

New Delhi: On Sunday, the “Baisakhi SuperSikh 5K Run” will be held here by the World Punjabi Organization and the Sun Foundation. The marathon will begin in the Inner Circle at Connaught Place, from F-block parking. The event is being held in observance of Baisakhi. The marathon has “Say No To Drugs and Fit India” as its theme. The marathon will be led by Fauja Singh (113), and the main guest will be Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities. The honoree will be Tarlochan Singh, a former member of parliament. More over 2,000 people ran the marathon the year before.

IP Vulcan opens international admissions

New Delhi: For the academic year 2024–2025, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has opened up admissions to overseas students. The admission booklet was released during a ceremony on the Dwarka campus by V-C Mahesh Verma. You may find application forms on the university website. Mustapha Jawara, the Republic of Gambia’s High Commissioner, was also present for the event.
