The CEO of FSSAI promotes improved health in Vijayawada via wholesome food

G Kamala Vardhana Rao, CEO of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), emphasized that almost 1.50 crore food company owners nationally are involved in a variety of food-related activities, such as production, storage, distribution, and retailing.

Speaking during an engagement session run by Vardhana Rao at a hotel in Vijayawada, where operators and enforcement officers of food safety had conversations. He emphasized how important it is for FSSAI to maintain uniform standards and provide better food alternatives to coming generations.

In order to prevent health problems resulting from subpar food packing, Kamala Vardhana Rao emphasized the agency’s increased vigilance in the wake of the Covid-19 epidemic and urged hotels and customers to prioritize food safety requirements.

J Nivas, Commissioner of Health, emphasized the value of healthy eating practices for general well-being and pledged ongoing efforts to maintain food safety regulations. Furthermore, he said that food safety officials around the state are undergoing regular training programs and that enforcement actions are being taken against enterprises that do not adhere to food quality requirements.
